ROOTED IN HISTORY
Hill Country Bathhouse is inspired by San Antonio’s rich tradition of bathing and wellness—a history embodied by the legendary Hot Wells Hotel & Bathhouse. Once a celebrated destination known for its restorative thermal waters, Hot Wells welcomed visitors from across the country, including President Theodore Roosevelt. Though the property was ultimately lost to fire, its preserved ruins remain a reminder of an era when bathing was more than a ritual—it was an experience centered around restoration, connection, and escape.
